MORE profit with LESS work? – Anthony Noud

Burnout.

How many times have you experienced it or teetered on the edge of it?

Now the funny thing with burnout is that it’s often self-induced..

Not because we have so much actual work to get done… but because everything FEELS like so much.

It becomes this snowball of overwhelm that leads to working on anything and everything… Instead of what actually makes a difference.

This causes us to lose focus and often work on even more unimpactful things…

And then we become exhausted, lose sleep and everything catches up to us and we crash.

That’s kind of where Anthony was.

In his words:

“I was trying to scale my business to this magic number I thought would make me feel like the business was a success.

I probably used to have a lot of things that I would work really, really hard on and end up burning out and pushing too hard.”

You see, sometimes working harder isn’t the answer.

Our invisible emotional needs can have us running really, really hard… but in a suboptimal direction.

Our emotions get in the way of our logic… and that’s rarely a good recipe for long-term success,

“What I've since found actually is that that strategy was really flawed, that I was incredibly busy, but I wasn't very effective at all.

I've completely restructured my business model. I've completely restructured the way in which I work and run my life. And they have all been maximized for what I actually want.”

Or in other words… Logical strategy > emotional response.

Sounds simple, but it’s not that easy.

Why?

Because

  1. We’re not robots.
  2. Most of the stuff that’s out there about mindset, motivation and goal setting is complete rubbish

“So I've tried command set coaches, psychologists, I read every book under the sun, all the kind of regular morning routine.

And what I found is that 99% of that was actually rubbish and wasn't going to get me to my goals and simply working harder in this instance definitely wasn't the solution.”

So what enables already successful people like Anthony to reach a new threshold of success?

Doing even more of the same isn’t it… as that either leads to burnout or small incremental growth.

It requires a mindset shift that most, including Anthony himself, didn’t know was possible.

“I believed there were parts of my personality, parts of my behavior that were just who I am, What I've learned since is that mindset is completely malleable. I now totally believe that.

I'm seeing the results. Parts of my personality that had been there for decades are now shifting or have completely shifted.”

And with that Anthony has earned new levels of growth, profits and more family time.

Here’s a screenshot of a recent win he shared in the group:

What to do if you are constantly teetering on burnout.

  1. Ask yourself if you’re clear on what the main priorities are.
  2. Clarify if you’re only focusing on those or if you FEEL a stressful pull to other things… like it was in Anthony’’s case…
  3. Decide to do something about it. Decide to get your emotional self in check so that you can bring out your logical self, avoid unnecessary anxiety or stress and achieve what you’re capable of.

P.S. I was surprised when we asked Anthony what he wants people to know about joining The Arena:

“The thing that I really like about Itamar is that you don't get this hardcore militant approach, you get a guy who's really calm, really compassionate.

He genuinely cares about you succeeding. And that's why he tells you the no-filtered, no-BS kind of truth.

The program is for anyone who knows that they are capable of achieving more. However, also knows that they are the limiting factor in that and are willing to follow a very structured, simple plan or strategy to achieve it.

It's life-changing stuff. You just 100% have to do it!”
