Scott Phillips
"I'm just getting started. These multi-million dollar monthly amounts are going to become ordinary. I'm absolutely confident that's my new normal now."
"I couldn't see a path to going from being a 6 figure guy to a 7 figure guy. I tried and tried, grinding away, working 7 days a week. I couldn't get free enough from the day-to-day whirlwind to think about strategy and the bigger picture. I was afraid that if I just took my foot off the gas pedal, the whole thing would collapse."
Scott felt like a mediocre, overweight, white guy living in Thailand, just like a thousand other middle-aged white guys living in Thailand because it's cheap. He was worried he was on the path to becoming a loser, and couldn't break free from the day-to-day for long enough to focus on strategy and growth.
The Arena helped Scott realize he was flat out underperforming, coasting through life accepting so-so results, when he was actually capable of attaining everything he wanted from life, from a 7 figure income to a "house filled with love".
"My wife looks at me like I'm a superhero. The really big change is that I'm not putting off happiness to some future date. It's not 'when I buy this nice house' or 'when I live here' or ' when I achieve that, I'll be happy'. I'm happy right now. Like, like, no, one's happier about being me than me, right here, right now."
What would he say to other entrepreneurs considering The Arena?
"If you're tired of holding yourself back and you want the whole package out of lifeâ — the dream marriage, the business that you actually want to own and want to work in, the self-esteem, the progress in your hobbies and your healthâ — if you want the whole package, then you should talk to Itamar tomorrow. Honestly. He's this like hardcore guy, but really filled with compassion. He genuinely and truly wants you to succeed."
Scott's business had plateaued, and he couldn't understand why. He couldn't see a path to go from being a six figure guy to a seven figure guy. He was working seven days a week and felt like he couldn't stop, or everything would collapse. The Arena helped him understand he was just coasting through life, accepting mediocre results, and he could step up any time he wanted to.
